PRIVACY NOTICE FOR EMOTION CLUB CONNECT USERS

1. Introduction

This Privacy Notice is valid for Championship Season 2024/2025 (“Season 11” or the “Season”) of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Each Championship Season is comprised of a series of rounds featuring an E-Prix in various locations throughout the world, each an “Event” and collectively the “Events.”
Formula E Operations Ltd, with its registered office at 3 Shortlands, 9th Floor, Hammersmith, London W6 8DA (hereinafter, “Formula E”), serves as the Data Controller for all personal data processed in connection with the Emotion Club Connect platform. Any inquiries can be directed to dataprotection@fiaformulae.com.

will be used and managed by Formula E. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.


2. What Information Will We Collect and Why?

We will be processing the following type of information:
• First Name and Last Name: To personalize your experience and ensure accurate identification.

• Email Address and Password: To create and secure your account for accessing WiFi and Event-specific information.

• Company and Job Title: To better understand the demographics of our guests and curate unique VIP experiences, such as Grid or Electric Laps. This information also helps us develop targeted marketing strategies and offers.
The above data is collected to:
a. Provide access to the WiFi code and information related to the Emotion Club experience.
b. Allow guests to register interest in additional VIP experiences.
c. Enhance our understanding of guest profiles to design tailored experiences and targeted marketing strategies, ensuring a memorable and exceptional experience for each guest.


3. What is the Legal Basis for Processing This Information?

There are two (2) bases for processing this information:
a. Consent: Guests must agree to the code of conduct and opt in to receive marketing communications or offers. No contact will be made without prior consent.
b. Legitimate Interests: To ensure efficient service delivery and curate VIP experiences for Emotion Club guests.

4. Who Will the Data Be Shared With?

We have engaged the services of trusted third-party providers to ensure your data is processed securely:
• Mueva: Platform service provider for Emotion Club Connect.
• Auth0: Authentication provider to secure guest login credentials.
We have entered into contracts with these third parties to ensure your information is safeguarded in line with relevant laws.

5. How Long Will We Keep the Data?

We will retain your data for up to 3 years, after which it will be securely deleted unless you opt to continue your engagement with Formula E.

6. Correcting and Updating Personal Information

If your personal information changes, or if you believe the personal data we hold about you is incorrect, you may ask us to correct or update the information by emailing dataprotection@fiaformulae.com.

7. Notification of Changes

We may occasionally modify our Privacy Notice. When this happens, we will notify you via email or by any other reasonable method of communication.
